In a move that underscores its financial robustness and commitment to shareholder value, Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower) has announced an interim cash dividend of AED 437.5 million for the first half of 2026. This decision, approved by the Board of Directors, translates to 4.375 fils per share, representing 43.75% of the company's paid-up capital.

Empower, the world's largest district cooling services provider, has consistently adhered to its dividend policy since its listing on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) in November 2022. The company has committed to an annual dividend distribution of AED 875 million for both 2025 and 2026, reinforcing its promise of sustainable and predictable returns to its shareholders.

The financial results for the first half of 2026 further highlight Empower's strong performance. The company reported a revenue increase of 4.5% year-on-year, reaching AED 1.519 billion. More impressively, the net profit after tax surged by 16.2% to AED 468 million, while EBITDA rose by 7.5% to AED 773 million. These figures not only demonstrate Empower's operational efficiency but also its ability to generate substantial shareholder value.

Since its DFM listing, Empower has distributed approximately AED 3.01 billion in cumulative cash dividends. With the upcoming H1 2026 dividend, this figure will rise to approximately AED 3.45 billion, marking a consistent track record of rewarding its investors while simultaneously investing in business expansion and growth.

Given the company's strong financial performance, commitment to shareholder returns, and strategic growth initiatives, the outlook for Empower appears optimistic. Investors may find this an opportune moment to consider their positions. With a robust dividend policy and a proven track record of financial growth, Empower presents a compelling case for a 'buy' recommendation.
