On March 27, 2024, Investcorp Capital plc announced the resignation of its non-executive board member, Jan Erik Back. The resignation was accepted on March 24, 2024, and will be effective from April 1, 2024. The reason for the resignation is retirement. Abbas Rizvi has been appointed as the new member of the board in place of Back.
Investcorp Capital has appointed Rohit Nanda as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from 2 April 2024. Nanda, a Chartered Accountant and a CFA Charterholder, previously served as the Head of Operations and Head of Investment Structuring and Business Support, Asia, at Investcorp. He succeeds Abbas Rizvi, who has been appointed CFO of Investcorp Holdings B.S.C.(c) after a successful tenure at Investcorp Capital, including overseeing the company's initial public offering.

HAYAH Insurance Company (P.J.S.C) has announced its Annual General Assembly Meeting to be held on 26th April 2024, in person at Jumeirah at Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi, or online. The meeting will discuss the company's activities and financial position for the year ending 31st December 2023, the external auditor's report, the balance sheet, profit and loss account, and the proposal for no cash dividends/bonus shares distribution. The meeting will also discuss discharging or isolating the board members and external auditors, appointing new auditors, and electing board members. Shareholders can delegate a representative, and those registered by 25th April 2024 are eligible to vote. The meeting requires at least 50% of the company's share capital to be represented. Insurance Company P.J.S.C., based in Abu Dhabi, is a Public Joint Stock Company with a paid-up capital of AED 200 million. It is registered at the Central Bank of the UAE. The company has outlined its corporate governance policies, stating that shareholders with the right to attend the general assembly may delegate someone to attend and vote on their behalf, provided they have written delegation. The delegated person can represent multiple shareholders but cannot hold more than 5% of the company's issued capital. The company also specifies that any shareholder signatures must be approved by a notary public, a commercial chamber, a licensed bank or company, or any other licensed entity.
