His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), has honored His Excellency Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, for his significant contributions over the past 20 years. Bin Shafar has been recognized for his role in advancing the district cooling industry on a regional and global scale, and for leading Empower to a prominent position in the sector. The Chairman commended the company's progress in technical and production capabilities, its use of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, and its commitment to innovation. He also praised Empower's customer service, environmental conservation efforts, and quality standards. The Chairman attributed Empower's success to the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Resolution No. 365 of 2024 temporarily suspends trading on the shares of DANA GAS PJSC. This decision is in accordance with Article No. 16 of the Regulations Concerning the Listing of Securities on ADX. The suspension is due to a meeting of DANA GAS PJSC Board of Directors scheduled for 09:30 on 17-Apr-2024, which coincides with the trading session at ADX. As a result, trading in DANA shares will be halted from 09:00 on 17-Apr-2024 until ADX receives the meeting results. All heads of departments in ADX are required to implement this resolution in their respective fields. The resolution will be circulated to SCA, the concerned company, all departments at ADX, and all brokers accredited by ADX. The resolution was approved by the authorized person and issued on 15/04/2024.
Al Ansari Exchange, UAE's largest remittance and foreign exchange company, has announced a partnership with Al Etihad Payments (AEP), a subsidiary of the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE). The collaboration will integrate Aani, an instant payment platform developed by AEP, into Al Ansari Exchange's services. The partnership will allow Al Ansari Exchange's customers to make instant digital payments, including money transfers, bill settlements and peer-to-peer payments through mobile numbers, email or QR codes. Aani also offers advanced payment technologies such as Proxy Payments, QR-code-based payments, Request to Pay and Split Bills. The initiative aims to drive financial inclusivity and innovation in the region.
The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has announced new margin parameters for various underlying assets, effective from 15-Apr-2024. The base margins range from 5% to 16%, with the base margin per contract varying between AED 2 and AED 2119, or USD 786 for OMOIL. The spread margin per contract ranges from 1 to 424. The methodology for margin calculation and types of eligible margin are detailed in the Derivatives Clearing Guidelines and Procedures on the Dubai Clear website.
