GFH Financial Group B.S.C. released an announcement on October 2, 2024, detailing their market-making activities and treasury shares for September 2024. In accordance with the Central Bank of Bahrain's requirements, the company disclosed the market-making transactions conducted by their liquidity providers: SICO in Bahrain Bourse and BHM Capital in Dubai Financial Market and Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. As of September 30, 2024, GFH held 84,186,563 treasury shares, representing 2.20% of the Group’s total outstanding shares. During September, SICO purchased 2,887,408 securities and sold 1,253,127 securities on Bahrain Bourse, with total money paid amounting to USD 984,520 and total money received amounting to USD 427,304.
On October 2, 2024, Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, Chief Executive Officer, addressed Mr. Hamed Ahmed Ali, CEO of the Dubai Financial Market, regarding inaccurate publications circulating on social media. GFH Financial Group has scheduled its Ordinary General Meeting for October 2024. The agenda includes: 1. Approving the minutes of the previous meeting held on 24 March 2024. 2. Approving the Board of Directors' recommendation to establish a Sukuk Programme worth up to $500 million through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), subject to necessary regulatory approvals. 3. Approving modifications and an offer related to the 2020 Sukuk issuance, including early redemption for cash of outstanding certificates. 4. Delegating powers to the Board of Directors to manage the Sukuk Programme establishment and the Offer, including obtaining necessary regulatory approvals and conducting essential procedures. 5. Delegating powers to the Chief Executive Officer to execute the Sukuk Programme and the Offer, including obtaining necessary approvals and conducting essential procedures. 6. Discussing any other matters as per Article 207 of the Commercial Companies Law. The meeting will be held via video conferencing on 2 October 2024, with alternative dates set for 9 October 2024 and 16 October 2024 if the legal quorum is not met.
On 2 October 2024, the Market Operations & Surveillance section of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange received a notification from ADNOC Logistics & Services plc. The company announced that its Board of Directors will pass a written resolution by circulation on Monday, 7 October 2024, at 6:00 PM UAE time. The resolution aims to consider and approve the interim cash dividend distribution to shareholders for the first half of the financial year 2024. The notification was signed by Abdulkareem Mubarak Almessabi, the Chief Executive Officer, and a copy was sent to the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
