Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has once again demonstrated its prowess in the financial sector by reporting a significant 158% increase in net profit before tax for the year 2025, reaching AED 1.06 billion. This remarkable growth is attributed to heightened trading activity, increased investment income, and a one-off gain from the sale of an investment property. The total consolidated revenue for DFM surged by 102% to AED 1.28 billion, underscoring the exchange's robust performance.

During 2025, the total traded value on DFM reached AED 174 billion, marking a 63% increase compared to the previous year. This surge in trading activity is a testament to the growing confidence among investors in Dubai's capital markets. The DFM General Index (DFMGI) rose by an impressive 17.2%, while market capitalization stood at AED 992 billion by the end of the year.

As DFM celebrates its 25th anniversary, it has evolved into a globally connected capital markets platform, playing a pivotal role in Dubai's financial ecosystem. The exchange's performance reflects the strength of Dubai's capital markets and the confidence of global investors in the emirate's economic vision.

H.E. Helal Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of DFM, emphasized the exchange's role in supporting transparency, liquidity, and long-term market development in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. Meanwhile, Hamed Ali, CEO of DFM and Nasdaq Dubai, highlighted the exchange's focus on improving market accessibility and supporting diverse investment activities.
