Dubai Financial Market PJSC has announced a significant increase in its traded value and net profit before tax for the first nine months of 2026.

The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has released its financial results for the first nine months of 2026, showcasing impressive growth in trading activity and profitability. The market reported a 22% increase in total traded value, reaching AED 162 billion, and a net profit before tax of AED 586.4 million. This growth is indicative of the sustained investor engagement and the increasing depth of Dubai’s capital markets.

One of the key highlights of the report is the 25% rise in average daily traded value, which now stands at AED 883 million. This surge is supported by robust institutional and international investor activity, with institutional investors accounting for 73% of the total traded value and foreign investors contributing 51%. These figures underscore the global appeal of Dubai’s financial ecosystem.

Additionally, the DFM attracted 55,460 new investors, 72% of whom were international, bringing the total investor base to over 1.3 million. This influx of new investors highlights the attractiveness of Dubai as a financial hub and its ability to draw interest from across the globe.

Despite these positive developments, the DFM General Index closed the period at 5,960.54 points, marking a 1.4% decline since the start of the year. This slight dip in the index could be attributed to broader market conditions and economic factors affecting investor sentiment.

Chairman H.E. Helal Saeed Al Marri emphasized the importance of Dubai’s economic fundamentals and its expanding financial ecosystem in driving this growth. He reiterated DFM’s commitment to advancing transparent, liquid, and globally connected capital markets, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

Looking ahead, the future of DFM appears promising, with its continued focus on enhancing market transparency and attracting international investors. However, given the current market conditions and the slight decline in the DFM General Index, it may be prudent for investors to hold their positions for now and monitor the market for further developments.
