Ajman Bank PJSC, a prominent player in the United Arab Emirates' banking sector, has announced a commendable financial performance for the first nine months of 2026. Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the bank reported a 12% increase in total revenue, reaching AED 1.35 billion compared to the same period last year. This growth underscores the bank's strategic focus on diversified income generation and disciplined financial management.

The bank's total assets have seen a significant rise, reaching AED 35.8 billion, marking a 9% increase year-to-date. This asset growth is complemented by a notable improvement in asset quality, with the Non-Performing Financing (NPF) ratio declining to 5.0%, a decrease of 273 basis points year-on-year. Such progress highlights the bank's effective risk management strategies and its commitment to maintaining a healthy balance sheet.

Ajman Bank's total liabilities also rose by 7% to AED 31.4 billion, while total equity surged by an impressive 27% to AED 4.4 billion. This robust equity growth indicates a strong capital position, enabling the bank to support its expansion plans and enhance shareholder value.

Operating profit before impairment reached AED 340 million, while net profit before tax stood at AED 352 million. These figures demonstrate the bank's operational efficiency and its ability to generate sustainable profits amidst a challenging economic environment.

H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi emphasized the bank's role in supporting the economic development of Ajman and the UAE, guided by Shari’ah principles. Mustafa Al Khalfawi, CEO of Ajman Bank, highlighted the bank's focus on disciplined growth, prudent risk management, and operational excellence as key drivers of its performance.

From an investment perspective, Ajman Bank's consistent revenue growth, improved asset quality, and strong capital position present a compelling case for potential investors. However, given the dynamic nature of the financial markets and potential external economic pressures, a cautious approach is advisable. Therefore, a 'hold' recommendation is suggested for current investors, allowing them to benefit from potential future gains while monitoring market conditions.
